Students get into character for World Book Day 2017

So we've shown you our staffs' costumes, but now it's the students turn!

All throughout the school students were encouraged to dress up as a character for World Book Day. It's the 20th year celebration of the day, where we encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading.

As part of the day, each student will go home with a book token that they can swap for one of ten free books at participating booksellers.

We had princesses, superheroes, tigers, and Curious George in school today. See if you can spot the Cowardly Lion!

Well World Book Day 2017 was another success and it was wonderful seeing the students bringing their favourite books and characters to life.

Better start planning next year's costume...
