On Tuesday 8th September, the school hosted the amazing Circus Sensible. The children were dazzled in an hour long circus skills performance followed by each class then taking part in a workshop. During the workshop children were taught the basics of circus skills which included juggling, plate spinning and hula hooping. Children and staff really enjoyed the day and it proved to be a very popular first day back. Throughout the first week children used this spectacular experience to produce different types of non-fiction writing: some classes wrote letters to Circus Sensible thanking them for their time at Brownhill, other classes wrote instructions explaining how to perform some of the tricks they learnt and other wrote recounts of the day.
Check out the pictures of some of the classes trying out the different skills.
